“I am pleased to announce my endorsement of Becky Proudfit for the Peoria Unified School District Governing Board.   I have worked with Becky for several years in various community organizations centered around improving educational opportunities for youth, enhancing programs for students with special needs and volunteer projects to rebuild neighborhoods of south Peoria.  Becky has lived in Peoria for a long time and all her children have gone through Peoria schools.  Her family is invested in Peoria with multiple generations living here and they are all active in the community including church service and countless volunteer hours over the years.  Becky understands the connection between education and Peoria’s future economic growth.   She has championed several initiatives while on the School Board currently, including increased attention and funding for the Career and Technical Education programs which will benefit our local workforce development.  Becky is fair and understands that students in every part of Peoria deserve and need a great education which will benefit all of us.  Please join my wife and I in supporting Becky Proudfit for Peoria School Board.  Thank you.”
